Nick D’Aloisio, a 17-year-old student in England, just sold his company – Summly to Yahoo!

Initially, Trimit did not get much attention.

Nick D’Aloisio earned nearly $30 million when he sold Summly to Yahoo.

After months of toiling away at the computer in his room, D’Aloisio flew back and forth between San Francisco, New York and Asia.

D’Aloisio met Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer at the Digital-Life-Design conference in Munich (Germany) in January 2012, when she was still working at Google.

D’Aloisio said he was impressed by Mayer’s enthusiasm `about cell phones and cutting-edge technology.`

Summly will be removed from the App Store (Apple’s App Store) and D’Aloisio will also become an official employee of Yahoo.

He said: `Mayer is very focused on scale. That’s what I’m interested in. Initially, I only have hundreds of thousands of users. But at Yahoo, this number will be millions. I don’t know what will happen later.`

D’Aloisio affirmed that he will still study and work normally.

His transaction with Yahoo is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.

`In the future, I will definitely create more companies. In the next two years, things will probably be less difficult than now. This was an amazing trip, and I want to do it again,` D
